My wishlist for the next Smash Bros. Game.



I think Chrom is pretty much a sure bet at this point, but I'd still really like to see the new Fire Emblem represented. I'd imagine he'd work similarly to the other FE characters so far. To be honest I actually would have liked to have the tactician playable instead, but because the character is completely customizable and I don't like the default design I went with Chrom. If nothing else I think he should at least has a projectile, to differentiate him from the other FE fighters. I figure he could throw a spear, since he can actually equip lances after he gets promoted. As far as Final Smashes, I always prefer transformation style smashes, so I was thinking he would get something that activates his Awakened Falchion to let him deal ridiculous damage for a period of time.


Medusa I mostly just like her design, and I think that the Smash series needs more villains. Not really sure how she would fight... I kind of like the idea of her special attacks all summoning minions. And of course her one-eyed monster form would be the Final Smash... not sure if she would just transform and fire one massive beam or if she would transform and be playable.


Elite Beat Agents! I mean... come on. Dance fighters are always the best ones in fighting games. Not sure how it would work like... which EBA agent you play as... Maybe just have each agent be a "color". Not sure how the Final Smash would work... I think it'd be pretty cool if an EBA gameplay style thing popped up... maybe with timed button presses, but what would be really cool is if it was automatically timed to whatever music the current stage is playing.

And of course Geno... some people might consider Geno as a guest character, but I think he still counts as largely first-party, even if they need permission from Square to use him.


Travis Touchdown, though, is pretty much just wishful thinking on my part. I don't think he has any real chances of getting into the game, even though he is largely considered a Wii character (despite his gaming also releasing on PS3). He's got everything a Smash character needs... good easily translatable fighting style, plenty of grapples, and even Final Smash style finishers. He's perfect, but content-wise I think he'd be hard to justify...
